Egbert Ludema · About me

I'm Egbert Ludema, a Communication & Multimedia Design graduate from NHL Stenden Leeuwarden and a freelance web developer running my own studio, EL-Websolutions, since February 2024.

I build custom websites and web apps for clients and agencies, mostly with Next.js, Payload CMS, WordPress, and Shopify. Alongside client work, I co-founded DICE Label with my business partner Max, and its spin-off ThedotStudio, where I build everything from Shopify storefronts to AI-driven lead automation.

I also build my own products on the side, like MemoryVault, a digital vault for memories and "open when" messages released to loved ones after you pass away, plus a handful of game design and research projects from my studies.

What ties it all together is building the whole thing myself, from design to development to the process behind it.

Full-Stack Developer
During my internship, I helped Webwijs improve an existing wireframe file in Figma by adding auto layout, properties, and variables. I also helped the development team build a basic webshop template in Magento that met Webwijs's CRO checklist, and built a plugin and website in WordPress using the Oxygen builder.
